This was a little bit of a day in the life session. We re-created what a weekend might look like by including some favourite things to do. Walking through Highbury Fields, dropping into the local fromagerie, we even stopped to try oysters at Highbury Barn - okay maybe that doesn't happen every day but with my love of street photography it was a shot I couldn't pass up. We stopped at their favourite coffee place and walked some of their favourite back streets.
The blossoms were in bloom and we were so lucky with the sun that day. A little stroll had 16 month old Emma impressing us with her new found walking skills, followed by a short picnic capturing Emma enjoying some of her favourite snacks. After that it was the perfect opportunity to capture some relaxed and easy portraits.
Back at home we captured the apartment block they have called home while living in London. This super easy and really fun session was the perfect way to create a meaningful and special keepsake. I know that in years to come, whatever country they happen to be living in, this family will treasure this little piece of their history. Photographs that tell your story.
