I've followed Suzy's blog In the Lyons Den for a little while now and her story resonated with me. Suzy writes about parenting and the challenges of raising children in such a realistic way. I was drawn to her posts about craving change, finding the good in life and building resilience in children. I love the way Suzy craved adventure and somewhere slower for her family and her openness in sharing their journey.

So when they packed up their lower north shore life for greener pastures in Arcadia I wanted to stop by for a family photography session and capture the change. The children were so excited to show me their amazing back yard. I was so happy to capture this time capsule for Suzy and Dan - a typical weekend for them - playing in the yard, swimming and being together. Enjoying the everyday. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of their journey unfold. Do you ever crave some place slower?
