A session with me will be relaxed and natural, we follow the lead of the littles. My photos document a particular moment in people's lives in an honest, raw and beautiful way. My aim to capture the best of people's personalities. The focus is on embracing the moment and the pressure is low; perfect for the shy or reserved families. My photography style adopts a documentary and lifestyle approach, I love to do a mix of portraits and relaxed images. Here are some more details and how it works and what to expect. Drop me a line to chat or ask about a custom package based on your needs. I offer indoor or outdoor sessions, I include pets and one set of grandparents without additional charges.

Step 1. A $250 creative fee secures your date and covers the planning process, which encompasses a questionnaire and a phone consultation. During this time, we collaborate to design a session tailored to your family, allowing you to authentically express yourselves and capture candid moments that truly reflect your family. I'll provide guidance on styling and location. The payment of this fee guarantees your chosen date and is non-refundable. Digital collections and products are available for separate purchase.

Step 2. I’l send you a how to prepare email, style advice and guide you in choosing a location. I’ll also call you for a chat as it’s helpful to work through details that way. I also encourage you to share with me your planned outfits via text or email. There will be an optional questionnaire, this is a way for me to get to know your family a little more and make sure we’re on the same page for your session.

Step 3. Once you receive your gallery, about 2-3 weeks after your session, you can select your images and packages. Prints and products are typically with you within 4 weeks and rush orders can be arranged. Packages are selected within 7 days of receiving your gallery.

Each package receives 3 fine art complimentary prints in 5x 7”.
As well as choosing printed products, many families opt to keep digital copies of their images. You will be provided with a secure link to download the files which you are welcome to share with your family and friends.

3 SIGNS I AM THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU

1. You’re camera shy as a family but know you want to preserve your family story in an authentic and relaxed way. You want the details, from the everyday to the heirloom blanket, your family pet, a grandparent staying to help and you want to feel no pressure.
2. You’re not a fan of studio sessions or lots of posing. An in-home session appeals to you for it’s comfort and relaxed way of preserving your story. More than likely one of you is very unsure about having photos.
3. You believe in preserving your story and you want to create a keepsake of your now. You want to capture this time as a feeling. It should feel like a friend dropping over for a visit. Your bubble is a special place and you’re not sure about opening it.

Booking your Session

Book your relaxed, baby-led, photo shoot with me in the comfort of your own home. Your shoot date is fully flexible should you need to move it. I will give you pre-shoot guidance with helpful advice to put you all at ease.

I will help you with a how to prepare guide and a questionnaire so I know how best to guide you on the day. Following your session I will prepare a hand edited gallery which you will receive within 3 weeks. From there you can select your package and products.

When should I book my newborn shoot?

For newborn shoots, I recommend booking your session after your 20-week scan. This may sound early but it will guarantee my availability when your baby does arrive.

When you book, we’ll pencil in a date (usually 5 - 14 days after your due date) which can be moved if your baby is born earlier or later than expected.

If you need more time to recover or settle into life as a new family, you can move the shoot to a time that feels right. I have no age-limit for my style of newborn photography and dates are fully flexible. Technically we call anything up to 12 weeks newborn. I just recommend avoiding babies first vaccinations as it can be an unsettled time.
